A few words about us:

Nature, history, legend and culture have generously endowed Fthiotis prefecture, a region that is very well known and holds a long tradition in the production of Table Olives. At that region, by ordinary people and for many centuries, the holy olive tree is cultivated, especially at the unique settlement Stylida, which is abundant in Olive Trees, with great success in the production of table olives and original extra virgin olive oil.
This was the region where the Bakalianos Family decided to start, with slow but steady pace, its significant course on the field of olive cultivation since 1904 and for three generations on, with great respect for the rules of the proper growing and production of olive and olive oil products.
The inherited from previous generations experience is combined with the modern know-how, the constant technological upgrade and training for all the process stages, in order to respond to all the modern family's demands and to offer exquisite, nutritious and flavorful products for the everyday meals.

The philosophy of the Family is to produce pure, organic products with continuous controls, monitoring and care at all stages of production. Every year at the beginning of September the olive harvesting starts, after only traditional methods. It is done by hand and without the use of machinery. Bakalianos Family combines all traditional practices with modern scientific methods, achieving this way an outcome of excellent quality and flavor.

In the “Bakalianos Family’s Organic Groves” 7500 trees are spreading in an area of 330 acres (33 hectares), where is considered to be one of the oldest groves that includes centenarian and perennial olive trees that are still growing under the ideal climate and soil conditions, something that emphasizes the superiority of their produced table olives. The annual production can reach the amount of 200-250 tons, a part of which is indented for table olives while the rest are mashed for making olive oil, in a certified olive mill and after the method of cold pressure. The whole olives’ production and standardization processes are constantly monitored for guaranteeing the DIO organization’s certification.
The fertile land in combination with the olive trees’ modern growing methods, confirm the achievement of high standards of production and consistency. With the proper knowledge and experience of the company “Bakalianos Family”, exquisite olive products are offered to you.
They produce and trade exclusively Organic Olive products, with great success in the local Greek market. After the rapid increase of demand for their products, they were led to turn, along with the local market, to the international ones, conquering with great success many foreign markets in the whole world, while they keep gaining great impressions for their products’ specialty….
